What blog topics are for

Each topic describes one precise subject. A single article often carries several blog topics, for example SRL and financial plan. Blog topics therefore cut across categories rather than replacing them. You can reach a guide by several paths. The cloud below enlarges the busiest subjects. The list beneath shows the number of articles for each one.

The main subject families

The subjects fall into a few families.

• Setting up and structuring a company: SRL, SA, articles, capital, shareholder, notary and Companies Code.
• Filing and publishing: CBE, Belgian Gazette, accounting and annual accounts.
• Paying the right tax: VAT, taxation, dividends and social contributions.
• Putting figures on a project: financial plan, financial forecast, business plan, cash flow and funding.
• Running the business: contracts, insurance, domiciliation, trademark and GDPR.
• Changing course or closing: transfer, merger, liquidation and bankruptcy.

Some subjects target a specific audience, such as the self-employed, liberal professions or international students settling in France. One guide can belong to two families, for example VAT for an SRL. These families do not replace the full list: they help you place a question before choosing a precise subject.

Choosing the right subject

Start from the word you would use with your accountant. A question about start-up capital leads to Capital or SRL. An invoice without VAT leads to VAT. If several subjects fit, open the most precise one first. A broad subject such as Taxation gathers many articles, while Dividends gets straight to the point.
