Business plan: the core of a student change-of-status application

Why the business plan matters

For certain new activities, Service Public expressly lists a project presentation, business plan and multi-year budget. For liberal professions, applicants must demonstrate the activity's capacity to provide sufficient income. The plan makes viability understandable, although it can never guarantee approval.

Seven essential sections

1Summary of the activity, legal form, location and timetable
2Qualifications, experience and connection to the project
3Offer, pricing and customer benefit
4Target market, demand and competition
5Sales strategy and early market evidence
6Resources, insurance, permissions and funding
7Profit, cash-flow and financing forecasts

Build assumptions from evidence: realistic rates, assignments, capacity, seasonality and payment terms. Include social contributions, taxes, insurance, software, marketing and the income you need. Test a conservative scenario too.

What Juristelo does

Juristelo helps structure assumptions and generate linked statements: profit and loss, monthly cash flow, financing plan and profitability indicators. You remain responsible for the facts and evidence and should compare the result with your prefecture's current checklist.
